Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka and also the main destination city to you. Coorg is the one of the best hill stations in south India where you can make a summer trip. Madikeri city (capital of the district) is the destination and most popular tour spots in the district. Other tour spots of the district are the Talakaveri (source place of Kaveri River where a temple of Lord Brahma is located), Abbey Falls (a beautiful waterfall located just 6 km away from Madikeri), Nisargadhama (a man-made island of Krishna River).

Karnataka is one of most developed states in India and maximum major cities of the country directly connected to the state by every field (road, air and rail) of transports. The capital town Bangalore is the main destination place in the state.

Travel by Road: Karnataka government has maintained a well connected road network by several National and State Highways. There have 122489 km roadways including 2357 km National Highways. The state is connected to other states by thirteen distinct National Highways among these the NH-13 and NH-4 are longest in the state.

Travel by Air: If you planned to go Karnataka by airway then the airport of Bangalore would be the suitable destination to you. This airport is connected by regular flights with the major cities of India like Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmadabad, Mumbai and New Delhi. Except Bangalore there have also many other small airports (about seventy).

Travel by Rail: Railway transportation of the state is also good. The railway station of Bangalore is most important in Karnataka. This station is directly connected to the every major railway stations of south India.
