Uttar Pradesh is one of the top most visited tourist's destination in India. More than 70 million both national and international tourists visit here in a year. There are two top locations to visit where a majority of the visitors go, the Agra circuit and the Hindu pilgrimage circuit.

You will found three World Heritage Sites in Agra: Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. And Mathura and Allahabad are famous Holy place for Hindus. Because, they believe Lord Lirshna was born here. The festival Holi is a big attraction of Mathura.

Travel by Air
There have 4 domestic airports in Uttar Pradesh located at Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Varanasi. These airports provide regular flights to the all major cities of India. Nearest international airport of the state is placed at Delhi (four hours travel by bus).

Travel by Road
Uttar Pradesh government maintained a well-connected road network throughout the state. The main destination city of the state Agra is connected to several National Highways namely NH-2, NH -25, NH -26, NH -27, NH -29 and NH -45. Through these highways the state makes a good communication to neighboring big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, etc.

Travel by Rail
The Railway network of the state is also good. Major railway stations of Uttar Pradesh are located at Agra, Varanasi and Lucknow. These stations are well-connected to the other big cities of India and many super-fast express and passenger trains service are available from these stations.
