Nagaland is one of attractive hilly destinations with superb greenery scenery in India. The state is perfect for adventuring, mountaineering and trekking. The attractions of the town are unique shaped houses of tribes, the State Museum and the Catholic Cathedral Church which are the main tourist attractions in Kohima.

Dimapur city: Dimapur is another tourist destination of Nagaland. The attractions of the city are the Kachari civilization, tribal made handicrafts, North East Zone Cultural Centre Museum, Chumukedima and Intangki Wildlife Sanctuary.

Other Attractions: Some other tour spots of the state are the Dzukou Valley about 30 km from Kohima, Japfu Peak for climbing and mountaining, Dzulekie a beautiful evergreen subtropical forests of hill, Konyak village of Shiyong, Satoi Range in the Zunheboto districts, Liphanyan Governor's trekking Camp, Khonoma village Wildlife Sanctuary, Intangki Wildlife Sanctuary, Fakim Sanctuary and Shangnyu Village.

Travel by Road
Two main destination cities of Nagaland namely Dimampur and Kohima are well connected to Guwahati and Shillong. Best option to travel by Bus or any car is to reach at first at Guwahati (Assam). After that you can hire any passenger car to Nagaland.

Travel by Air
If you planned to go Nagaland by airways then the airport of Dimampur would be suitable destination to you. It is directly connected to Guwahati and Kolkota and regular flights of Indian Airlines are available here.

Travel by Rail
The main railway station of the state placed at Dimampur. This railway station is well connected to Guwahati and other small stations of Nagaland.
